Federal Account Manager - Reston, VA

We have an immediate opening for a Federal Account Manager sales position based at our offices in Reston, VA.

The position qualification requirements & job description are as follows:

Experienced sales professional with 7+ years experience working with government clients in a direct, client-facing role. Government account management, business development, and sales experience a must.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior management at client organizations.
Technical background with experience working with, marketing, and demoing software applications. Development experience, including knowledge of C++, Java, C, Perl, ECMAScript and/or Python, a strong plus. A Technical Degree a plus.
Source new software & services business from potential clients and act as the main point of contact to manage the overall client relationship. Manage all aspects of moving projects through the sales cycle from sourcing new qualified conversations, to presentations, demos, trials, pricing, negotiations, and finally through purchase order and payment. Also manage post-sales client relationship to confirm smooth installation of software, adequate training, and ensure that the clients realize ongoing value from their software purchases.
Set-up and present product demos to clients, which would include sourcing data for demonstrations, story-boarding software use cases, and presenting demos to senior management at potential client sites.
Provide additional pre and post-sales support, which would include technical support, and support for “how-to” questions related to the features/functionality of Future Point Systems software.
Gather and compile client feedback, including bugs, new feature requests, and other requested integration functionality. Communicate internally with FPS team to prioritize these requests and communicate development plan directly to clients.
Self-motivated personality with desire to make a profound impact at an early-stage, emerging software company. Ability to work conscientiously on tasks and on sourcing new client relationships. Works well in a fluid, flexible environment with the ability to think & act creatively to drive & close additional sales business for FPS.
US Citizen with TS/SBI security clearance.

Inside Sales Account Representative - Reston, VA

We have an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Account Representative position based at our offices in Reston, VA.

The position qualification requirements & job description are as follows:

Answers inbound calls from potential customers and promotes products and services by phone.
Makes outbound calls to lists of leads assigned
Performs full cycle sales role with a focus on closing sales
Answers potential customer questions regarding products and services
Sends emails with product information, quotes and video links to interested leads
Sets appointments and follows up with contacted leads to pursue sales via phone
Maintains and enhances company reputation for courteous and professional behavior
Maintains Salesforce.com CRM database
Follows up on orders through procurement cycle
Organizes trade shows and user’s group meetings
Maintains high level of product and service knowledge and adapts to new technologies
1-2 years prior sales experience required
Experience with software product sales required
Government sales experience preferred
College coursework and degree preferred
US Citizenship required

Analyst/Applications Engineer – Reston, VA

We have an immediate opening for an Analyst/Applications Engineer position based at our offices in Reston, VA.

The position qualification requirements & job description are as follows:

Extensive experience with intelligence systems and visual analytics tools such as DCGS-A, ArcGIS, Starlight, Palantir, Analyst’s Notebook, Sentinel Visualizer strongly preferred.
Experience briefing complex topics to senior staff, conducting training, building and providing demos of complex topics or software.
Sales support experience a plus.
Training Experience a plus
Strong technical skills, experience with XML, Perl/Python, Javascript, SQL, data processing and conversion desired.
Experience in government/military intelligence analysis. All-source analysis preferred.
B.S./B.A. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Mining, Intelligence Analysis, Geospatial Analysis, Geoinformatics, Computational Linguistics or similar degree preferred.
US Citizen with TS/SBI Clearance.

Senior Software Engineer - Richland, WA/Reston, VA

We have an immediate opening for an experienced C++ developer. As a Senior Software Engineer, youll be helping to craft the future of visual analytics. You'll design and deliver new features that enable users to make new discoveries, keep our nation safer, and drive revenue. The successful candidate will be a skilled, knowledgeable, and responsible self-starter. Must be experienced in all phases of the software development lifecycle, and have the ability to work closely with others as part of a fast-paced, high-spirited team.
